Kuchipudi Dance Centre (KDC) is a non-profit cultural organization located at
Chanakyapuri in
New Delhi. It was established in 1982 by renowned dancer Swapnasundari with the objective of promoting
Kuchipudi dance form. The center organizes dance festivals, dance dramas and solo performances by renowned artists from all over the country. The center teaches
Andhra Pradesh’s classical forms and provides facilities for research in Andhra’s temple dance tradition. There is an extensive library of audio-visual material that serves as a tool for organizing seminars and lecture demonstrations. Apart from its regular activities, KDC organizes at least three performances annually. The center promotes dance projects, in collaboration with government departments and other organizations.
