Vishnudol Temple



Vishnudol Temple is a highly revered shrine situated on the bank of Sibsagar Tank, in the historic city of Sibsagar, in Assam. The temple is a major draw for both Shaivites and Vaishnavites.

Vishnu Temple is believed to be built by Queen Madambika, the spouse of Shiva Singha in 1734. The temple has a 40 high cubits worth visiting. Shivadol Temple and Devidol Temple are other religious places situated nearby.

Simaluguri Junction Railway Station is the nearest railway station (16 km).
