Tirukkaanaattumulloor Patanjali Nathar Temple is situated near
Chidambaram, in
Cuddalore District. The temple is on the northern banks of the
Kollidam River. Covered by an area of about one acre, the temple has two prakarams. The entrance is adorned with a three tiered
Rajagopuram. Inscriptions during the period of Vikrama
Chola are found in the temple. The temple
teertham is Surya Pushkarini.
Viswanathar, Visalakshi,
Brahma and
Vishnu have separate sanctums inside the temple. Vaikasi Visakam and Arudra Darisanam are the main festivals.
