Tees Hazari

Tees Hazari is a beautiful Mughal garden located in the city of Old Delhi. It was built by Shah Jahan in traditional Mughal style, with lots of neem trees around the garden. History says that Shah Jahan gave this garden to his daughter Jahanara as a gift. Tees Hazar also belonged to Aurangzeb, a famous Mughal emperor. The British did great damage to this garden after the revolt of 1857. Today this garden is located in the compound of Delhi’s session court.
