The Shimoga Government Museum exhibits include sculpture, inscriptions, paintings, arms, coins, and manuscripts. It also houses excellent library facilities. Film shows are conducted on Saturdays at 18 00 hrs.
Visitors are allowed between 09 00-17 00 hrs. Mondays and second Saturdays are holidays.
