Saranga

Saranga is a pilgrimage center, situated about 67 km from Dhenkanal and 23 km from Angul, in Orissa. There is a magnificent image of Lord Vishnu, on the rocky bed of the Brahmani River, enshrined in the Anantasana posture. The hoods of Ananta, the serpent king, spread over the head of Lord Vishnu as the crown and cover. The primal lotus, housing Lord Brahma originates from Vishnu’s naval.

Saranga can be reached by bus from Dhenkanal Bus Station.
