Dhenkanal Bus Station is situated on the Cuttack-Sambalpur national highway, 26 km from the Kapilash Temples. Regular bus services are available to
Joranda, Kualo, Ladagada, Saptasajya and Saranga. Buses frequently ply from Dhenkanal to Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Puri,
Rourkela, Sambalpur and Raipur.
Dhenkanal Railway Station, on the Cuttack-
Talcher line of the
South Eastern Railways, is a short walk from the bus station. The nearest seaport is at Paradeep (113 km.) Airport nearest to the station is at Bhubaneswar.
Pilgrim centers in and around the city include Naganatheswar Temple, Asta Sambhu Temple and Kunjakanta Temple. Hotel Surya, Hotel Sakuntala and Sri Krishna Lodge provide lodging facilities near the bus station.
