Prek Valley, also known as Prek Chu Valley, lies in the south-western part of Sikkim. It is on the trek route to Kanchenjunga.
The valley offers good views of Kanchenjunga and Goecha La. A steep ascend from Pethang leads to the top of the ridge and separates the Prek and Rathong valleys. The Prek Chu River flows through the valley. The valley is surrounded by high mountains on both sides.
