Rathong Valley lies in West Sikkim District. The Singali Ridge lies west of the valley and to the north is the mighty Kangchendzonga.
A trek from the valley leads through thick, semi-tropical forests and then to the Tibetan village of Tsoska. Above the valley is the small village Yuksom, surrounded by cardamom plantations. The Dubdi Monastery provides panoramic view of the valley.
