Nimasarai Tower, one of the major attractions in Malda, is 17 m in height. Dating back to the 16th century, the outer surface of the tower is embedded with peculiar stones protruding from the walls. These stones were probably used to display the heads of the criminals. Nearby attraction is the historic Jami Masjid. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is located about 340 km from here.
