Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology is located about 42 km from Faizabad, on Faizabad-Rae Bareli road. Established in 1975, this State University is named after a great lawyer and educationist, Acharya Narendra Deo.
The university serves the 25 districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh. Engaged in teaching, research and extension activities, the university offers programs in the areas of agriculture, animal husbandry, agricultural engineering, rural industry and other allied disciplines. Its Directorate of Distance Education has introduced IT, management, engineering, fashion designing, agriculture and allied science courses.
