Mookanankurichi

Mookanankurichi (also spelt Mookkanankurichi) is a small town situated near Karur in Karur District , Tamil Nadu. The town lies between Thanthoni and Palayam. Velliyanai is situated in the south-east and Paganatham in the south-west. Nearby tourist spots include Government Museum at Karur, Kalyana Venkattaramasami Temple at Thanthoni, Vennaimalai Subramanyar Temple, Kadambavananathar Temple at Kulittalai and Shantivanam Church. Accommodation facilities are available at Hotel Nandhini and Hotel Valluvar at Karur. Tiruchirapalli Airport is the nearest airport. Velliyanai Railway Station at Velliyanai serves the town.
