Kulittalai

Kulittalai is a town located in Karur District and lies on the banks of Cauvery River. It is about 30 km west of Tiruchirapalli and 25 km east of Karur.

The place is a well-known pilgrim center with temples and an ashram. The two temples are Kadambavananathar Temple and Tiruveengoimalai Maragathachaleswarar Temple. The ashram is the first Catholic ashram, Saccidananda Ashram, formed by the French priests in 1950.

Nearest airport is Tiruchirapalli Airport. Kulittalai Railway Station is on the Tiruchirapali-Erode rail route. National Highway 67 has its route through Kulittalai.
