Mirza is a small village situated in the southern part of Kamrup District. This is an ideal village which spreads over a vast area touching the river Brahmaputra, in the north. The Meghalaya border is about 25 km and Goalpara District is about 120 km from here. The National Highway 37 passes through this region.
