Menal River

Menal River flows, over a bed of granite slabs, through the districts of Bundi and Chittorgarh. The river has a waterfall which plunges into a 122 m deep gorge. It lies on the Bundi-Chittorgarh Road in the midst of beautiful wooded ravines and 20 km away from Bijolia. There is a village, Menal and a number of Hindu shrines on the banks of the Menal River. Mahanaldev Temple is a temple complex on the river bank with some of the beautiful carvings of Hindu deities.
