Menal




Menal lies on the Bundi- Chittorgarh Road, 48 km from Bundi. It is a place of natural beauty and is famous for its ancient Shiva temples of the Gupta period. The area also presents a mesmerizing waterfall after a good monsoon. The magnificent temple of Mahanaleshwara built in or around 10th or 11th century is famous for its fascinating carvings. It was once the centre of art and architecture, especially during the Chauhan period.

Bundi is connected by rail with Chittorgarh and Agra. It is connected by road with major cities of Rajasthan.
