Maharajpur is a beautiful hamlet located just outside the city circle of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. Perched at an altitude of about 5,137 ft above sea level, it is about three kilometers away from the district headquarters of Srinagar District. Lachmanpur, Tengpur, Chhatabal, Lakhmanpur, Batmalun and Rangrath are some of the locales around Maharajpur.
Private vehicles operate regularly from Gogu towards this village. Maharajpur can be approached from Jammu (145 km) and Pulwama, by road. The nearest railhead is at Udhampur.
