Machhoi is a scenic village situated around 13,694 ft above sea level in Kargil District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 83 km from Srinagar – the state capital. The Drass River flows through this place. Machhoi is an excellent place for the trekking enthusiast. The highway connecting Sonamarg (19 km) to Kargil via Zoji La passes through Machhoi.
