Lok Bhawan, also known as Tirth Raj Asthapan, is a sacred place located in
Anantnag District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 8 km from
Anantnag.
The place is famous for a spring, a temple and Dharamshalas. These structures were burnt in 1986 and were reconstructed. There is a ceremony called Har Bagh conducted annually. It is believed that taking a dip in the spring on this auspicious day removes all the sins.
By road, Lok Bhawan is easily accessible from Anantnag, which is 65 km north of Srinagar.
