Lal Bazar

Located on the outskirts of Srinagar, Lal Bazar is a residential area in Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is at an altitude of about 5,167 ft and is just five kilometers from the district headquarters. Vicharnag is in the west, Wontabowan in the north, Mundibal in the east and Kakarbagh in the south.

Lal Bazar can be reached on the Srinagar-Leh highway. The nearest railhead is at Udhampur.
