Jayakwadi is situated in the Painthan taluk of Aurangabad District. It is about 50 km from Aurangabad and 75 km from Ahmednagar. The main tourist attractions in the village include a bird sanctuary and a lake, called Nathsagar Lake. There is a garden around the dam here, which is home to a large number of resident and migratory birds. There are regular bus services which connect Jayakwadi with other nearby cities and towns. The nearest railway station and airport are at Aurangabad.
