Nathsagar Lake



Nathsagar Lake is situated at Jayakwadi in the Painthan taluk of Aurangabad District. This extensive water reservoir has about 450 km long shoreline which provides home to nearly 200 species of migratory and resident birds. There are more than 50 species of fishes in this large water body. The presence of the lake enriches the surrounding areas with luxuriant aquatic flora and fauna.

The best time to visit the lake and its surrounding areas is from October to February. The nearest railway station and airport are at Aurangabad.
