Jawaharlal Nehru State Museum is located at Itanagar in Papum Pare District of Arunachal Pradesh. The museum displays extensive ethnographic collection of local tribes including wood carvings, musical instruments, textiles, handicrafts and archeological finds.
The museum also holds a library and a handicraft center which specializes in traditional cane manufacture. It is open to the public from 10:00 to 16:30 hrs, except on Mondays.
