Hinsa




Hinsa is a small town in Lahaul and Spiti District of Himachal Pradesh. It is near the district's border with Kullu District and is around 15 km east of Salgaraon and 8 km west of Thirot. Keylong, the district headquarters, is around 15 km to the south-east. Shashur Monastery, Tayul Monastery and Suraj Tal Lake are nearby. Indrasan Peak, Gepang Goh Peak, Mulkila Peak, Perad Glacier, Chandra Tal, Kibber Sanctuary, Chhota Shigri Glacier, Bara Shigri Glacier and Kunzum Pass are easily accessible from here. Kullu Manali Airport and Joginder Nagar Railway Station are the nearest airport and railhead.
