Himalaya Hindi House is located at Nolunna, between the Uttarkashi-Gangotri Road and the River Ganga, around 20 km north of Uttarkashi. It is a paying guest house, specializing in short and long term Hindi courses from June to July in a Himalayan atmosphere. Besides studying Hindi language, students get a fairly good exposure to Indian culture. Accommodation facilities are also available there.
Gomukh Glacier, Valley of the Flowers, Himalaya Mineral Water Factory, Maneri Dam, and the pilgrimage centers Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath are the nearby attractions.
Regular taxi services are available from Uttarkashi to Nolunna. The nearest airport is at Jollygrant and the nearest railway station at
Rishikesh.
