Hadgarh Dam across the river Salandi is located at a distance of 20 km from Bhadrak on National Highway 5. The dam site is the natural habitat of muggar crocodiles. The scenic surroundings, along with Hadgarh Sanctuary make the dam site ideal for weekend outings and picnics.
The dam site is accessible by road from Keonjhar (115 km) and Anandpur (35 km).
