Guma




On the Chhattisgarh-Andhra Pradesh border, Guma is a small settlement in Dantewada District. The town is located on the banks of the Kolab River. Dantewada, the district headquarters lies to the west. The place is located about 17 km east of Kokanar and 24 km north of Malkangiri. Sukma is a major settlement that lies to the south-west. Kokavada (11 km north), Mahupadar (10 km east) and Tittiveru (25 km south) are the other neighboring towns. Danteshwari Temple, Bhairm Baba’s shrine and Memory Pillars of Gamawada and Bailadila are the interesting spots nearby. Raipur Airport and Dantewada Railway Station serve Guma.
