Faizabad Bus Station (UPSRTC Bus Stand), the busiest station in Faizabad District, operates state and inter-state services to all major cities and towns. It is about 6 km from Ayodhya. Buses ply from
Faizabad to Lucknow, Varanasi, Allahabad, New Delhi and Gorakhpur.
Faizabad has an airport at Naka, close to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia University but no regular airlines services are available. The nearest airport is at Lucknow (about 130 km.)
