Cave Temple at Pundi

Vellingirinathar is temple diety in the cave temple at Pundi, which is also known as Vellingiri. This hillock temple is situated at a height of about 1,200 m. One has to trek to reach the temple. There are ponds on the way for refreshing oneself. There is another temple at the foot of the hill. The festival times are Machi, Panguni, and Chithirai (Feb to May).
