Arong is located in
Car Nicobar Island, the headquarters of
Nicobar District. It is around 4 km from Sawi.
It is a populated area bounded by Passa in the north, Kemios in the east and Oukchaung in the south. Surrounded by coconut palms, the flat fertile land has a tropical climate with temperature varying from 22oC to 32oC.
