Started in the year 1967, Amirthi Zoological Park is situated under the Javadu Hills of Tellai, across Amirthi River, 25 km away from Vellore. The park has an area of 25 hectares. The park is rich in different kinds of flora and fauna. Beautiful waterfalls make the park picturesque. Swings and seesaw are offered, for children to play. Two rest houses and a meditating hall are also available.
