Agora



Agora is a remote village in the Garhwal region of Uttaranchal. It is situated above the valley of the Asi Ganga, at an altitude of 2250 m. The hamlet consists of two dozen houses, set in a secluded atmosphere.

Agora can be reached by a 6 km trek from the Kalyani Trout Hatchery. The village is a suitable base for the trek to the trout-filled Dodital and Bakria Peak.

Nearest airport is at Dehradun, which is also the closest railhead. Uttarkashi is 20 km away.
