One of the northern-most towns in Aligarh District, Chandaus is close to Bulandshahr District. The district headquarters, Aligarh is about 34 km south of it. It is almost equidistant from Pisawa and Somna, about 10 km each.
Tappal, a small town with some noteworthy monuments, is a nearby place of interest.
Chandaus is well connected by road to Arnia Khurd, Somna and Aligarh. Somna Railway Station and Agra Civil Enclaves are the nearest access points.
