Tumbal

Tumbal is located in Salem District of Tamil Nadu and is around 43 km east of Salem. This place is midway between Sittilingi of Dharmapuri District and Valappadi (or Vazhappadi), at about 20 km.

Ettapur and Belur are prominent places, known for temples, around 14 km and 16 km from Tumbal. Attur is a nearby tourist spot with a fort as the main attraction.

Valappadi Gate Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Major railhead nearby is Salem Town Railway Station. The airport close to Tumbal is Salem Airport.
