Singarapettai is a small settlement located near Uthangarai in Krishnagiri District, Tamil Nadu. It is bounded by Uthangarai in the west, Hanumanthathirtham in the south-west and Chengam in the east. Tourist spots in the neighborhood include Thiruvannamalai, Government Museum, Thally, Krishnagiri Fort, Athiyamankottai, Kelavarapalli Dam, Krishnagiri Dam and Hogenakkal Waterfalls. The nearest airports are Salem Airport and Bangalore International Airport. Samalpatti Railway Station serves the town. The nearest major railhead is Tirupattur Junction Railway Station. Singarapettai is connected with Tirupattur, Uthankarai and Hanumanthathirtham by road.
