Situated about 42 km west of Bhubaneswar, Atri is a popular tourist destination in Khordha District and is noted for its hot sulphur springs.
The spring water here is thought to have medicinal properties. The bathing complex, located close to the spring provides steam bathing facilities for the tourists. A temple dedicated to Lord Hatakeswar is another attraction in the region.
