The main campus is located on the Priyadarsini Hills, 13 km away from Kottayam Railway Station and 4 km from
Ettumanoor. Spread over the districts of Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki and some parts of Alappuzha and Pathanamthitta, this university has 23 teaching and research departments and 107 affiliated colleges, as well as several information and study centers.
