In and around the town lie several tourist places including Pancha Pandava hill, Dahijora, Dharagiri Falls, Phuldungri Mountain, Galudih Resort Center and Musabani. About 9 km away from Ghatsila at Burudih is an artificial lake surrounded by hills on all sides. Numerous timber industries flourish here.
