Samchurche

Samchurche, a charming town, lies in Kargil District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 192 km from Srinagar. It is at a height of 10,620 ft above sea level. Kharbudu lies to the west of Samchurche. Sispingchan and Shakardo are to the north and south respectively. Nearest points of attraction are Chiklitan, Mulbekh and Shergol.

Jeeps and private vehicles are available from Sakist and Chomortan to Samchurche. The convenient railhead is at Jammu. The closest airports are Srinagar Airport and Leh Airport.
