Kharbudu has Talma in the west, Sispingchan in the north, Samchurche in the east. Mulbekh Gompa, Mulbekh Chamba and Namika La are the interesting destinations.

Kharbudu can be easily reached from Mulbekh as state buses connect Mulbekh with Srinagar. The nearest railhead is Jammu Tawi Railway Station, which is on the Jammu – Pathankot line. The closest airports are Leh Airport and Srinagar Airport.
