Jengging

Jengging is located in Upper Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh. It is south of Yingkiong and lies near the disrict’s border with East Siang District. It is an ideal destination for trekking, hiking, rafting and angling.

Adi, Hindi, Assamese and English are the main languages spoken. Main tourist attractions are Namcharua peak, Nubo bridge point, Pegu Lake, Mouling National Park and high altitude tea gardens at Ramsing. The place is accessible by bus from Pasighat and Along. October to April is the best time to visit Jengging.

Nearest airport is Dibrugarh Airport. Murkeongselek Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
