Zamshung

Zamshung is a small village located in Kargil District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 153 km from the state capital – Srinagar and 4 km from Pashkyum. The Suru River flows near to this place. Grantung and Chulati are 6 km towards the west and east.

One can reach Zamshung by taking buses or private vehicles from Brokhar, Tharumsa and Grantung. The nearest railhead is Jammu Tawi Railway Station, which is on the Jammu – Pathankot line.
