Established in 1947, Walchand College of Engineering is situated midway between Sangli and Miraj cities at Vishrambaug, Sangli.
Affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur, and recognized by the All India Council for Technical Institute, the college conducts engineering courses in Civil, Mechanical, Electronics and Information Technology.
Training and Placement unit within the campus conducts and organizes campus interviews, vocational in plant training and in campus training.
