Virsad




Situated at the junction of three taluks Petlad, Khambhat and Borsad, Virsad Village comes under Borsad taluk in Anand District, Gujarat. It gets the name from temple Vireshwar Mahadev in the town highway route. Virsad was originally inhabited by Brahmins and Rajputs. Amin Patels are the main community of this village. Potato and elephant yam are the major crops. There are refined oil mills, tobacco companies, papad factories, cold storages, and diamond polishing companies here.
