Vayathu

Vayathu is a small village in Kannur District, Kerala. It is near Srikandapuram, on the banks of theValapattanam River. Nearby towns are Pappinisseri, Taliparamba, Valapattanam, Iritti, Mattanur and Chavasseri. Some of the nearby tourist attractions include Meenkunnu Beach, Muzhappilangad Beach, St Angelo's Fort, Ezhimala Hills and Mount Deli Lighthouse. Arogya and P V A Ayurvedic Nursing Home are ayurvedic centers within 30 km radius. Government Rest House provides accommodation facility. Vayathu can be accessed by local buses from Kannur and Taliparamba. Kannur Railway Station serves this area. Calicut Airport is the nearest airport.
