Varaha River

Varaha River has its origin from Narsipatnam Hills in Visakhapatnam District. It flows through Narsipatnam and Elamanchili and finally merges with the Bay of Bengal. The highly revered Arulmigu Balasubramanya Temple in Periyakulam and Etikoppaka – acknowledged as the toy town - are some of the interesting destinations that lie along the banks of the river. Sothupparai Dam, an ideal picnic spot, is built across the river.
