Vaimooradigal Temple is situated at Tiruthenthiruvoimur near Tirukkollili, in Tiruvaur District. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The deities of the temple are Lord Vaimooradigal and Goddess Palinumnanmozhiammai. The temple has a teertham called Surya. Sambandar, Appar, and Sundarar are some of the saint-poets have contributed pathigams in praise of Vaimooradigal. One can reach the temple by traveling 24 km south-east from
Tiruvarur.
