Established in 1957, the Vaikunta Baliga College of Law is one of the premier law institutions in Karnataka. It is affiliated to the Mangalore University and approved by the University Grants Commission, and Bar Council of India.
The college offers 3 and 5-year full time courses in LLB and well over 3000 students have graduated from here. The college aspires to impart comprehensive and state-of-the-art training to prepare its graduates for all sorts of challenges.
There is an advanced library here with the latest editions of text books and standard works in all branches of law. Much impetus is laid on co-curricular activities. Separate hostel facilities are available for men and women.
