Uttarakhand Public School is managed by the Uttarakhand Jan Kalyan Parishad. It has been affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education and is equipped with a playground, science and computer labs, a library, and big lecture hall. The students are encouraged to participate in activities such as dance, drama, music, elocution, sports, quizzing, art, and craft. It also focuses on organizing exhibitions, seminars, symposiums, quiz contests and poetry recitation. The school has an Eco Club which is involved in environment related issues. There are also scouts and guides wings.
