Urs at Galiyakot is celebrated on the 27th day of
Muharram, the first month of the Muslim calendar. It is initiated with mass prayers and recitation of the Holy Quran. Many devotees visit the memorial of the revered saint, Sayyed Fakhruddin. They offer sweets, fruits, coconut and jaggery at the shrine to seek blessings.
Nearest railheads are at
Dungarpur (58 km) and Dahod (96 km) on the Delhi-Mumbai route. Tourists can avail buses from Udaipur to Galiyakot.
